Dr. Ellen Brown
Veterinarian
Dr. Brown joined the staff at Animal Medical Services in June 2011. After obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky in 2005, Dr. Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Brown has a long list of academic achievements and a history of service to the veterinary and student communities. Since graduation in 2009, Dr. Brown has accumulated an ever-increasing list of accomplishments and activities that one would expect of an enthusiastic and dedicated veterinary professional. She maintains memberships at the national, state, and local veterinary levels through the AVMA, IVMA, and SWIVMA.
After graduation, Dr. Brown returned home to Kentucky to practice mixed animal medicine for 2 years before moving to Evansville, Indiana and joining the team at AMS. Dr. Brown continues to practice all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine at Chateau Dog & Cat Hospital. Her primary areas of interest include internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, and preventive medicine. Dr. Brown cherishes developing strong relationships with her patients and their pet parents. She strives to make sure her clients are knowledgeable about and comfortable with the treatment options for both their well and sick pets.
In her spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys fishing, gardening, maintaining her home, watching movies, attending mass each weekend, and spending time with her family, friends, and long-time boyfriend, Adam Riley. An avid sports fan, Dr. Brown follows the Saint Louis Cardinals baseball team, University of Kentucky, and Auburn University athletics. She can often be seen at the office carrying her soft drink in a sports team koozie.
Dr. Alexis Zobel
Veterinarian
Growing up in rural Indiana, Dr. Alexis Zobel developed a passion for working with animals at a young age. She was an active member of 4-H and FFA in high school. Then, she attended Purdue University to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Graduating from Purdue’s vet school in 2018, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in public health through the University of Minnesota. Dr. Zobel started working with dogs and cats in March 2019. Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking, and working on projects around the house. She loves traveling and experiencing new cultures.
Allison
Registered Veterinary Technician
Allison is originally from a small town called Owensville. She graduated from Owensboro Community and Technical College in May of 2019 and obtained her Veterinary Technician License (RVT) in September 2019. She has been in the veterinary field for eight years. She has done an internship, worked at shelters, boarding facilities, kennels, and other clinics. She enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with family in her free time away from work. She has two daughters, five dogs, and two cats, who always keep her happy and busy! Some fun facts about her: She was a gymnast for 20 years and went to nine National competitions and two Junior Olympics. She also trained and taught Jiujitsu for a few years, along with softball for multiple years.
Kaitlyn
Registered Veterinary Technician
Kaitlyn is originally from a small town in Virginia. She graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology in 2015 and has since passed her RVT exam. She has always had a passion for working with animals large and small. Kaitlyn moved to Evansville to settle down to start a family with her husband, Jonah. They have two boys, Weston and Lane, who keep them on the go. She currently has a Golden Retriever, Axel, and 3 cats, Oakley, Petunia, and Junipurr. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Nathan is originally from Elberfeld, IN. After serving in Iraq, he started a family in Newburgh, IN, to become employed at Alcoa Warrick Operations for 10 years. He began his education in Veterinary medicine in the Spring of 2016 at Harrison College. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife, Leslie, daughter, Keira, and son, Alex. They enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking. His family also includes a dog, two cats, two chickens, and a variety of aquarium fish.

Practice Manager
Whitney joined our team in 2015 and is our Practice Manager.
Whitney is originally from Kokomo, IN. She moved to Evansville in 2006 to attend USI and receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She worked as a daycare teacher for 2 ½ to 3 ½-year-olds and made the decision to go back to school to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. She attended Harrison College and graduated in 2015.
Outside of the clinic, she likes spending time with her husband Zach and their two cats, “Willow” and “Maple,” and their dogs “Stanley” and “Rowan.” She also enjoys painting, paper crafting, and cooking.
Katie
Veterinarian Assistant
Katie graduated from the University of Evansville in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. After college, she decided she would rather work with animals, and that’s what she did! She joined Chateau in 2017 as a Veterinary Assistant. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, and their six cats, a dog, and two guinea pigs. She also enjoys fostering and volunteering at the local humane society.
Tina
Veterinarian Assistant
She is originally from San Diego and moved to southern Indiana in 2002. She has been in the Veterinary field since 2000. She has a daughter, Maggie, a son, Will, and five cats. She enjoys taking little weekend trips with her husband, Carl, game nights with friends, and just hanging out at home.
Daniel
Receptionist
Originally from a small town in Illinois, Daniel moved to the Evansville area in 2017, where he has spent his time in the care of animals. Being a lifelong animal lover, Daniel devotes his time working at Chateau as a receptionist and is one of the board members for Posey Humane Society. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his two fur babies Faye (pictured) and Pixie (pictured with Dr. Zobel), along with enjoying trivia nights with his coworkers as well as enjoying the many things Evansville has to offer. In his future with Chateau, Daniel plans on training to become a technician and further add to his skills in the veterinary field.
Kate
Receptionist
Kate is a graduate at Harrison College. She studied to become a Veterinarian Technician. She has multiple pets of her own. She has her cats, Fish, Chips, Sushi, and Edgar, and her dogs, Chance and Ziva. She loves Disney, and DIY crafts, and loves spending time with her beautiful daughter.

Vicki is a lifelong Westsider and a proud supporter of Reitz football. She is an avid gardener and looking forward to Master Gardener training. She loves being part of the Chateau family and being able to interact with clients and their furry kids.
